Traces her career from its early beginnings, winning a talent contest in Harlem at the age of 17, through her years with Chick Webb, taking over the orchestra upon his death, working with jazz greats in monumental concerts and recordings.  A real eye-opener for those who only remember her "Memorex" commercial, a happy memory for those who heard her first recording of  "A Tisket, A Tasket" and an exciting celebration for all of  the years in between.
